Optimum GmbH presents: Smart Klaus in the fifth generation – now more powerful & flexible
(Karlsruhe, April 19, 2023). The fifth generation of the worker assistance system Smart Klaus features a new and expanded user interface. The now modular structure of the software enables the precise control of even highly complex manufacturing processes. The newly developed "SK Recipe Designer" module makes the creation of complex checking sequences faster and easier. The increased power of the software now permits parallel inspection of multiple characteristics and reduced reaction times.
One outstanding feature is the new operator interface concept with a widescreen monitor, combined with an additional touchscreen. Whilst the large monitor behind the work surface guides the operator with real-time information and provides feedback, the side screen serves as a control unit, providing better process overview.
Thanks to a new plug & play capability, extensions such as projectors or pick-by-light systems are integrated on the fly without any programming effort.
