For whom is SK Assembly the perfect solution?
Smart Klaus® Assembly was specially developed for companies that need to master complex assembly processes while ensuring the highest quality standards. From multi-variant production to demanding manual assembly processes - SK Assembly makes complexity manageable and quality reproducible.
Companies with complex assembly processes
Ideal for companies with demanding, multi-stage assembly processes and high quality requirements.
Manufacturing companies with a high number of variants
Perfect for manufacturers with numerous product variants and frequent product changes (low-volume high-mix).
Quality-oriented companies
For industries in which maximum precision and 100% accuracy are essential, such as aerospace or automotive.
Companies with a shortage of skilled workers
Enables new employees to be quickly and safely trained and staff to be deployed flexibly.
Companies with documentation obligations
Ideal for manufacturers with strict verification requirements who have to document every production step in full.
Sophisticated manual assembly processes
Ideal for processes that are too complex for full automation but still require maximum precision.
Three core functions for perfect assembly
Smart Klaus® Assembly makes complex assembly processes safe, comprehensible and error-free - from the initial instructions to complete documentation.
Intuitive step-by-step worker guidance
SK Assembly guides your employees through each assembly step with images, text or videos. The system shows a live image of the work area on the monitor and marks the position of the component to be assembled.

Real-time inspection of each assembly step
The system continuously checks the work area. As soon as a work step has been carried out correctly, it automatically switches to the next one. An audiovisual warning is issued immediately in the event of errors.

Seamless documentation of the production process
Each assembly step can be documented automatically - with images, time stamps and measured values. This creates complete traceability and valuable proof of quality for your customers.

That's why SK Assembly is your best choice for assembly
Error-free assembly - relaxed and safe
SK Assembly guides the worker step by step and automatically checks every assembly step. Errors, rework and 8D reports are a thing of the past, while your employees are relieved and work more productively.

Safely assemble complex variants - even without prior knowledge
The system shows exactly which part belongs where - regardless of the employees' previous experience. Variant diversity becomes manageable, not a source of errors, even with complex assemblies and frequent product changes.

Full traceability thanks to digital assembly protocols
Each production step is documented - with a picture, time stamp and processor ID. This not only provides a strong argument for customers, audits and complaints, but also creates the basis for continuous process improvement.
What problems does the Smart Klaus® Assembly solve?
High scrap and rework costs
Assembly and placement errors cause expensive rework or rejects. SK Assembly recognizes errors immediately and enables immediate correction - before costs are incurred.
Increasing complexity and diversity of variants
Growing product complexity and a wide range of variants overwhelm employees and lead to errors. The system makes even the most demanding processes manageable and avoids mix-ups.
Extensive training of new employees
Training for complex assembly processes is time-consuming and costly. SK Assembly drastically reduces the training period and makes new employees productive quickly.
Inconsistent assembly quality
The quality of manual assembly processes varies depending on the employee, daily form and experience. The system standardizes the processes and guarantees consistent quality.
Difficult traceability
Complete documentation is hardly possible with manual processes. SK Assembly documents every assembly step automatically and in an audit-proof manner.
High pressure on employees
The responsibility for error-free assembly puts a strain on employees. The system takes on this responsibility, reduces stress and makes work more relaxed and productive.
For which industries is the Smart Klaus® Assembly optimized?

Zero error tolerance for complex assemblies
- In the automotive industry, with its complex assemblies and high OEM requirements, SK Assembly ensures error-free assembly processes and seamless documentation - from wire harness production to electronics assembly.

Precise placement of similar components
- For electronic assemblies with numerous similar components, SK Assembly prevents placement errors, checks correct polarity and position and ensures the highest quality standards.

Strict compliance and audit-proof documentation
- In the medical technology sector, with its strict regulatory requirements, SK Assembly guarantees precise assembly and audit-proof documentation of every process step.

Complex assemblies with high error costs
- In mechanical engineering, with its complex assemblies and high costs in the event of errors, SK Assembly ensures error-free assembly and optimum use of specialist knowledge in production.
Three simple steps to error-free installation
Smart Klaus® guides you intuitively through every assembly process - from digital process creation to automatic documentation.
Create a digital process description
Each assembly process is stored in the system once, step by step. Images of each work step are captured via the camera and the features to be checked are marked. This is done simply and intuitively, without any programming knowledge.
Guided assembly with real-time control
The worker is guided through the production process on the screen. The camera monitors the work area in real time. As soon as a step is completed correctly, the system automatically switches to the next step. A warning is issued immediately in the event of errors.
Automatic documentation
All work steps carried out can be automatically documented in a detailed assembly log - including images, time stamps and measured values. This data offers complete traceability and can be transmitted to higher-level systems if required.

Frequently asked questions about Smart Klaus® Assembly
How does Smart Klaus® Assembly guide you through the assembly process?
Smart Klaus® Assembly guides your employees step by step through the production process using AR. Images, texts or, if required, videos are displayed on the monitor to illustrate each assembly step. At the same time, the system shows a live image of the work area and marks the position of the component to be assembled.
What types of assembly errors can the system detect?
The system detects a wide range of assembly errors: missing or incorrect components, incorrect positioning, incorrect sequence, incorrect orientation (e.g. twisted installation) and many other visual deviations. Non-visual parameters such as torques can also be monitored using connected tools.
How long does it take to set up a new assembly process?
New assembly processes are taught in by a one-off demonstration. Each work step is recorded by the camera and relevant inspection features are marked. This only takes minutes per work step and feature. An average assembly process with 10-15 steps can be completely taught in just a few hours.
Can we integrate existing assembly instructions?
Yes, existing assembly instructions in the form of images, texts or videos can be easily integrated into Smart Klaus® Assembly. They are displayed at the appropriate points in the process, facilitating the transition from paper-based to digital worker guidance.
How does the automatic documentation of the assembly process work?
With each assembly step, an image can be automatically captured and saved in an assembly log together with the time stamp, user ID and measured values. These logs can be linked to a unique order or serial number and retrieved or exported as required.
