    Each assembly process is stored in the system once, step by step. Images of each work step are captured via the camera and the features to be checked are marked. This is done simply and intuitively, without any programming knowledge.

    How does Smart Klaus® Assembly guide you through the assembly process?

    Smart Klaus® Assembly guides your employees step by step through the production process using AR. Images, texts or, if required, videos are displayed on the monitor to illustrate each assembly step. At the same time, the system shows a live image of the work area and marks the position of the component to be assembled.

    The system detects a wide range of assembly errors: missing or incorrect components, incorrect positioning, incorrect sequence, incorrect orientation (e.g. twisted installation) and many other visual deviations. Non-visual parameters such as torques can also be monitored using connected tools.

    New assembly processes are taught in by a one-off demonstration. Each work step is recorded by the camera and relevant inspection features are marked. This only takes minutes per work step and feature. An average assembly process with 10-15 steps can be completely taught in just a few hours.

    Yes, existing assembly instructions in the form of images, texts or videos can be easily integrated into Smart Klaus® Assembly. They are displayed at the appropriate points in the process, facilitating the transition from paper-based to digital worker guidance.

    With each assembly step, an image can be automatically captured and saved in an assembly log together with the time stamp, user ID and measured values. These logs can be linked to a unique order or serial number and retrieved or exported as required.
